Beyer A/AA/AAA Runners Up in Clovis

The Beyer High School Band and Color Guard took second place overall out of 15 bands in class A/AA/AAA last Saturday at the Golden State Tournament of Bands at Buchanan High School in Clovis, CA.

Beyer also competed against five other schools to win the AAA Class with a score of 80.65, winning caption awards for the AAA class including best General Effect, Best Visual Performance and Best Color Guard. They placed second to Kingsburg High School in the percussion and music captions.

Special thanks go to Beyer Principal Dan Park and the administrative team at Beyer, the Beyer Band Boosters, and especially the Beyer Blue Crew for all of their assistance and support. Congratulations to the students, Director Marcos Rivera and the outstanding instructional and design staff!

The next competition will be the WBA Madera Show on November 12. Beyer performs at 8:01 PM and will compete against 9 other A/AA/AAA schools, including Sweepstakes winner Clovis North High School.
