Another 1st Place Finish at Sierra Cup
The Beyer Band and Color Guard continued its winning streak at the 14th Annual Sierra Cup Classic band competition in Fresno. Beyer competed against three other bands in AAA competition and a total of 19 bands to finish in first place for the AAA division and 2nd place overall in the combined A/AA/AAA division. With an overall score of 74.90, Beyer took home two caption awards including Best Visual and Best Percussion. Congratulations to the students for their hard work, Band Director Marcos Rivera and the instructional staff, as well as the Beyer Band Boosters for their teamwork in making the band and guard's success possible.
The band and guard's next competition is November 5 at the Golden State Tournament of Bands, held at Buchanan High School.
