Overview
Beginning in 2011-12, Student Accounts (in their previous definition) are no longer used by the Beyer Band Boosters. We track what each family (student) has contributed through donations and fundraising, and we even have goals and incentives for those who donate and fundraise, but the money in students' Charms profiles is not considered "their money," it's simply the amount they have raised that can be used for the benefit of the entire program.
Money Deposit Rules
A Great deal of fundraising money is processed through the band and guard program. To help use the treasurer’s time properly, it is crucial that we follow a few important guidelines when turning in fundraising product and money. When turning in money please follow these guidelines:
Policies/Refunds
Any cash given to the program is considered a "donation" and is tax-deductible and non-refundable. The money donated and fundraised by each student is "tracked" through their Charms profile, so you can always log in to see how much money you have brought into the program. This "money" in Charms is only tracking a student's contributions to the General Fund, and it will be used as needed to benefit the entire group.
Account Status/Statements
Student finances can be accessed through Charms (http://charmsoffice.com). If during the year you have a question about finances, please put a note in “the box” or contact our treasurer - treasurer@beyerband.org.
