Band Camp Schedule
The following also went out today to everyone whom we have email addresses for:
Parents and Students,
I was able to get some clarification on the Muster vs. Band Camp conflict today. In the past, Muster was a one day event for each class, and the students missed that part of band camp. This year, it's a 2 day event for the freshmen which happens to overlap with when we wanted to start camp.
With that in mind, here is the new schedule for band camp:
All events @ Beyer High School
Tuesday, August 11th
- 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Percussion Only
Wednesday, August 12th
- 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Freshmen Muster (all others off)
- 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Music block - band room and surrounding rooms, (color guard in sectionals)
*full group meeting in band room to kick off camp
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Dinner
- 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Marching block (front ensemble stays at band room)
Thursday, August 13th
- 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Freshmen Muster (all others off)
- 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Music block
*full group meeting in band room at 2:00
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Dinner
- 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Marching block
Friday, August 14th
- 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM Marching block
- 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Lunch
- 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM "Unity Games" @ field - everyone
- 3:15 PM - 5:00 PM Music block
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Dinner
- 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Marching block
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (August 17th-20th)
- 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM Marching block
- 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Lunch
- 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM Music block
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Dinner
- 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Ensemble block
**Tuesday the 18th is the parent meeting in the little theater at 7:00 PM. All parents please plan to attend!

- 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM Welcome Back BBQ in Forum

We are wrapping up the member handbook and will be emailing that out very soon. It will cover more details about band camp among many other things. I am out of town, but available all this week by phone or email if anyone has questions.
