Join the Beyer Marching Band and & Color Guard!
The reigning WBA State Champion Beyer Marching Band and Color Guard is holding weekly rehearsals to prepare for the Fall competition season. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 5-8 P.M. through August 12th. Band camp will be August 18-23rd - the week before school starts. For more information about Color Guard, Percussion, or the Marching Band in general, contact the band office, or download the informational flyer. Please feel free to distribute this information to anyone you know who might be interested! No experience is necessary to be a part of the Beyer Band and Color Guard. There is a spot available for everyone with a good attitude and willingness to learn.
Beyer Welcomes Eddie Castro as New Color Guard Director
The Beyer Band and Color Guard is pleased to announce that Eddie Castro will be the new Color Guard Director for the 2008-2009 school year. Eddie grew up in the Modesto area and attended Johansen High School. He has been a part of several world renown performing arts organizations, has worked with numerous high school and junior high school color guard programs in the Central Valley and Bay Area. He is very excited to help lead the acclaimed Beyer Color Guard program into a new era. Visit our Color Guard page for more information about the program and how to become a member!
