The Beyer Marching Band and Color Guard is pleased to announce their 2008 Fall program, "A Moment". Set to the stunning and beautiful music of an original commisioned piece by Dr. Gary Gilroy, the program will explore the breathtaking moments in life when sound and movement converge and become greater than their sum, as well as the rare but striking moments when both sound and movement stop, leaving us to interpret the experience in myriad ways. The percussion book will once again be written by Shekhar Khedekar (battery) and Nate Bourg (front ensemble), and long-time Beyer staff member Oliver Bullock will again head the visual design. New staff member Eddie Castro will be the choreographer for the Color Guard.
