Fall Percussion & Color Guard Audition Dates Announced
On May 20th from 5-8 P.M. at Beyer High School, auditions will be held for our nationally-ranked Color Guard and Percussion groups. All interested students are welcome to attend! Both groups are run in conjunction with the WBA State Champion Beyer Marching Band. The auditions will take place on three consecutive Tuesdays, followed by continued weekly rehearsals throughout the Summer to prepare for the Fall competition season, our trip to Hawaii, and State Championships in November. No experience is necessary to be a part of the Beyer Band, Color Guard, or Percussion. There is a spot available for everyone with a good attitude and willingness to learn. The auditions are a way of making placements within these very prestigious groups. While not having formal "auditions", the wind section of the band will have Summer rehearsals on Tuesdays from 5-8 P.M., starting on June 10th. For more information about Color Guard, Percussion, or the Marching Band in general, visit the links on the left side of the page, or download the informational flyers below.
